Bob Fisk had another great performance last Thursday at Rox in Las Vegas. Mark your calendars for August 31. Bob Fisk will be playing at The Bunkhouse with Casket Salesmen and mythmaker. To learn more about Bob Fisk, checkout their myspace page.

I was around for the entire show, then realized my video camera was in my truck. I ran out, grabbed it, and caught the last few songs. I got a chance to interview Brett (lead guitar and vocals) over the weekend. Check out the interview and video:

The new zappos.com commercial is amazing. It will only be played online and will probably get more visibility than if it were on TV. This one should spark up some controversy :) Head over to YouTube and watch it or check it out below:

Welcome to the new-old gerardramos.com. I’ve consolidated a few websites. All posts from avenuelabs.com are now located here. The plan is to keep this blog as my little home on the web. I’ll be keeping you posted on all my endeavors, working at zappos, traveling, conferences, rants and raves. I’ll be blogging more often and getting more involved in the Las Vegas Web Design Community. If you are involved in web design and development, be sure to checkout VegasFoo. The group was formed to cultivate a web design and development community in Vegas and is growing monthly. Work Updates
Zappos is going extremely well. I couldn’t dream of working for a better company. If you are looking for a great place to work, you should definitely checkout our job openings.

Project Updates
Swamble is moving in the right direction. We are currently at 400+ users. All updates on swamble will now take place on the swamble blog.

Simulagent is almost ready for private beta and we will be sending invitations soon. The blog and community forums are in the process of being setup, so if you are interested head over to simulagent.com and register for an invitation.
